I’m an information professional with over 25 years’ information experience in the public sector and the media, most recently the charity and academic sectors. My key areas of specialism include establishing and fostering professional working partnerships to facilitate knowledge sharing. Leading and implementing organisational change, most specifically in the delivery of information services.
I’m actively involved in several professional associations. For 2016 I’m CILIP’s (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) Vice-President. Previously I have been 2014 President of Special Libraries Association (SLA).
This blog is my route for sharing and starting conversations with others on happenings and issues facing the information profession.
When not thinking about information things I’ll be found in the kitchen cooking, baking is my speciality, but I’m also a cordon bleu trained chef.
